Drainage: Designs and Installation

This half day workshop is designed for greenkeepers and grounds staff, who are considering installing drainage, either themselves or by using a contractor. The workshop will introduce delegates to the soil water environment, introduce effective drainage design and calculate the correct spacing to ensure that any systems installed will be effective and a worthwhile investment. 

Learning Outcomes:

  • Have an understanding of the soil water environment
  • Be able to understand how a drainage system is designed 
  • Be able to calculate drainage spacing
