Seminar 14 - Recognising and Rectifying Drainage Problems on Fairways

This seminar will identify causes of drainage problems, what techniques are available to rectify them and how to install sports turf drainage on a budget. This will cover basic pipe layouts, and design specifications for primary and secondary drainage. Alternative techniques to remedy wet greens without the expense and disruption of having to rebuild them. For cash-strapped clubs, alternative options for installing drainage systems on a DIY basis and how to maintain those systems to keep them performing at their optimum level. Budget costs for different techniques and systems will be given.
