How to Coach Teams and Individuals

Coaching is now a wide spread skill to give enhanced feed back, but it can also be used to develop improved performance in individuals and teams. This session looks at the different coaching methods and shows which ones are suited for greenkeeping situations. It will also provide accompanying techniques to deliver the performance change required.

• Know what the coaching processes are and choose an appropriate approach

• Identify and remove barriers that prevent effective coaching

• Be aware of the skills and techniques of work based coaching

• Know how to plan and reflect on coaching exchanges

• Develop an effective coaching management style to gain respect
