Doing Well at Job Interviews

This Career Development session will help you to learn how to do well at job and promotion interviews. 

Breaking the interview down, you will learn how to get it right at every stage. Using straightforward guidance, you will practice your interview techniques in a comfortable and confidential environment.

Acting as both interviewer and candidate, you will practice asking good questions and giving great answers. 

Learning Outcomes: 
• Do a much better job at interviews - either as an interviewer or as a candidate 
• Overcome nervousness and make a good first impression at the interview 
• Plan good interview questions and prepare strong responses to questions 
• Differentiate between a ‘good’ and a ‘bad’ question and answer both of them well 
• Respond well to tricky questions like ‘What was the biggest mistake you ever made?’ 
• Pose good questions when asked at the end - ‘Do you have any questions for us?’
