Seminar 11 - Life Without Propiconazole

PRE-BOOKING ONLY AVAILABLE FOR BIGGA MEMBERS

In the last 4 years over 80% of the value of the turf fungicide market has either been revoked or is under revocation. The loss of three major actives and numerous products has required a radical rethink on disease control on greens. This seminar will summarise long term trials carried out by an independent organisation which show prevention is better than cure.

The trials also show the importance of timing and mixing modes of action but, most importantly, by using biostimulants and anti-stress products the performance of modern fungicides can be improved.

Learning Outcomes:
• Why chemicals are being removed (revoked)
• What effect this will have on turf disease control in the future
• Changes in practices that greenkeepers will have to adopt
• What does the future hold?

Presented by Peter Corbett, Chemicals Business Development Manager, Rigby Taylor
