Drainage: design and installation

This half day class is designed for greenkeepers and grounds staff who are considering installing drainage, either themselves or by using a contractor. It will introduce delegates to the soil water environment, introduce effective drainage design and calculate the correct spacing to ensure that any systems installed will be effective and a worthwhile investment.

Steve Prinn is a lecturer in greenkeeping with many years experience in teaching sportsturf. He is a regular presenter of the Drainage: Design and Installation workshop on the Continue to Learn at BTME education programme. He works as a technical advisor to both BIGGA and The GTC.
