Effective delegation (NEW)
Most organisations recognise the enormous benefits to be gained by creating a culture of delegation and empowerment. Despite this, many managers fail to fully realise these benefits. The misuse of delegation can lead to a ‘blame culture’ that leads to high staff turnover and poor productivity, putting even more pressure on the manager. This class equips managers to delegate effectively and begin the process of building a culture of empowerment and growth.
Malcolm Hewitt had a 16-year career with Safeway that was followed by a prolonged period of consultancy within some of the UK’s top companies, including B&Q, Sainsbury’s and the Co-operative Bank.
