Emerging technologies for disease control

Turf managers are realising that they have to take a whole new approach to disease management. There are restricted chemical fungicides available and new diseases appearing in the UK such as dollar spot. This seminar looks at some of the research behind new technologies that is being developed to help fight disease. New cultural methods and new pesticidal and non‑pesticidal products are being developed, but how do we best use them? What are the best timings and protocols to keep disease at bay? Help unravel the marketing from the science in this seminar.

UK Technical Manager Origin Amenity Solutions Ltd

Kelly has worked in the amenity industry for 20 years. She started her career in sportsturf construction and currently works for Origin Amenity Solutions as the UK Technical Manager for the group. Following her time at STRI, Kelly has worked across all amenity sports sectors and developed a real passion for sustainable turf management and nutritional inputs. Her current role allows her to spend time in the field to identify sector issues, feeding the information back into the OAS Research and Development team.
