Grinding perfection and cutting unit set up

This one day class will be held at Moortown Golf Club, which is the new partner to the Bernhard Academy. The class will be hands‑on and practical. You will learn about the correct set‑up, mounting and grinding of a bedknife including applying the correct angles for the mower to work optimally.

Also covered will be the correct set‑up, mounting and grinding of a cutting cylinder and the best practice of disassembly and reassembly of a cutting unit. Setting the mower on cut and making sure the unit is parallel, setting height of cut and looking at some of the pitfalls, servicing your mower cutting units and much more. Transport will be provided to and from Harrogate Convention Centre and Moortown Golf Club.
