Husqvarna at the AIG Women’s Open: How we did it
In the early hours before the world’s best female golfers arrived at Royal Porthcawl, a quiet transformation was taking place. While the grandstands were still empty and dew clung to the fairways, a fleet of robotic mowers was already hard at work - silently, efficiently and with remarkable precision.
This year’s AIG Women’s Open marked a historic moment for turf care in the UK. For what is believed to be the first time, all 18 fairways at a major championship were maintained by autonomous robotic mowers. And at the heart of this was a close collaboration between Husqvarna and the home greenkeeping team.
In this session, Husqvarna’s Jonathan Snowball will be joined by key personnel who contributed towards this ground‑breaking event. Come along and learn how we did it.
