Conflict can be inevitable no matter how well a club is run. Providing people have the skills in place, positive benefits can result from conflict situations.

This half day class will examine how conflict can arise and the various techniques for dealing with it. It will provide an opportunity for delegates to practice new skills enabling positive resolutions to conflict situations.

Malcolm had a 16 year career with Safeway that was followed by a prolonged period of consultancy within some of the UK’s top companies, including B&Q, Sainsbury’s and the Co-operative Bank. This commercial expertise was recognised by the University of Surrey through his appointment as industrial fellow to their Retail Marketing Degree for four consecutive years, followed by his involvement in the development of a Distance Learning Degree, which was embraced by Asda and BP.

Malcolm works as a management trainer for EQV Training and regularly teaches at Continue to Learn.
