Sprayer calibration made easy (boom or hand‑held)

This class will discuss comparing calibration methods, demonstrating how the figures collected will enable you to accurately calibrate your machine, how accurate calibration can save you money and protect the environment and how accurate calibration can encourage correct uptake by the plant.

Freelance instructor and assessor for City & Guilds Sanderson Training

I have been involved in agriculture for many years on the family farm. Being a freelance instructor and assessor for City and Guilds and Lantra Awards for over 20 years, delivering courses on the Safe Use Pesticides such as Pa1, Pa2 and Pa6. I have been an auditor for the National Sprayer Testing Scheme for 18 years and more recently started running my own training and assessment business in North Shropshire, Sanderson Training.

Freelance instructor and assessor for City & Guilds Sanderson Training

Richard was a course manager for 15 years in Leicestershire and a past chairman of BIGGA in 2001. Since 2007 he has been assessing and training the safe use of pesticides in hand held and boom sprayer disciplines. From 2019 until 2021 he was the president of the Leicestershire and Rutland Golf Union.
