In recent times there have been lots of discussions regarding winter penetrants, their efficacy/safety and value. This seminar aims to highlight how they work and the outcomes of application.

Peter Lacey started as an apprentice greenkeeper at 16 and became Head Greenkeeper at 22; he was at Pennard GC for 26 years. He is an active member of BIGGA, acting as S Wales Section Sectretary for 22 years and Regional Board representative for 12 years. With a total of 39 years in the industry, Peter spent 9 years with Farmura before it was acquired by Aquatrols Europe in 2018 and continues his role there. He has been an active attendee and support team member of many Open, Ryder Cup, British Seniors and Amateur events, and is also an active supporter of Links forums, The ILI and Sustainable Greenkeeping.

Michael brings over 42 years of experience in the sports turf industry. He spent 18 years in greenkeeping, including 14 years serving as Head Greenkeeper or Course Manager. For the past 24 years, he has specialised in consultative sales, providing expert guidance and solutions to the sports turf sector. Since joining Aquatrols in 2016, Michael has served as Technical Support and European Account Manager, leveraging his deep industry knowledge to support clients across Europe.
