Prize Draw Terms and Conditions – Husqvarna Automower® 540 EPOS®
Promoter
The Prize Draw is organised by The British & International Golf Greenkeepers Association (BIGGA), Coxwold House, Easingwold Business Park, Birch Way, Easingwold, York, YO61 3FB, organiser of the BIGGA Turf Management Exhibition (BTME).
Eligibility
The Prize Draw is open to United Kingdom residents aged 18 or over who register to attend BTME 2027 at the Harrogate Convention Centre, King’s Road, Harrogate, HG1 5LA on 26 to 28 January 2027. Employees of the Promoter, their immediate family members, BTME exhibitors, and anyone professionally connected with the Prize Draw are not eligible to enter.
Entry Requirements
To enter, participants must register to attend BTME via the official registration process by 23:59 on 25 January 2027. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple registrations will not increase the chances of winning.
Prize Details
The Prize is one (1) Husqvarna Automower® 540 EPOS® robotic mower and a standard accessory and installation package provided by Husqvarna or its authorised service partner, subject to site suitability. Charging station, power supply, low-voltage cable and reference station is included in the accessory package. The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
The Prize has a recommended retail value of £5,499 including VAT as of 1 September 2026, in addition to the standard installation package. Any equipment, connectivity, electrical work, groundwork or services not expressly listed are excluded.
The standard installation package includes:
- Initial site assessment (which may be conducted remotely or on-site)
- Product set-up and commissioning
- Creation of the mower work area and operational settings
- Basic user training for the winner (or appointed representative)
Installation is subject to site suitability and reasonable access requirements. Any additional works, equipment, services or modifications required to enable operation of the robotic mower, including but not limited to electrical works, groundworks, internet connectivity, mobile network provision, drainage works, landscaping alterations, fencing, security measures, ongoing maintenance, servicing, replacement parts, or additional accessories, are excluded from the Prize unless expressly stated otherwise.
Installation is subject to a satisfactory site assessment. If the winner’s nominated installation site is unsuitable, the winner may nominate an alternative eligible site in the United Kingdom, subject to the Promoter’s approval and a further site assessment. If no suitable site can be identified, the robotic mower will be supplied without installation, and no cash or other compensation will be provided in place of the installation package.
Draw Details
All eligible entrants who have registered for BTME 2027 by 23:59 GMT on 25 January 2027 will be automatically entered into the Prize Draw. Eligible attendees must reside in the United Kingdom.
The draw will be conducted randomly from all eligible entries. The provisional winner will be selected at random at 08:00 on 26 January 2027. A reserve and second reserve winner will also be drawn.
The provisional winner will be contacted by telephone and email using the details supplied during registration. The provisional winner must respond and confirm acceptance of the Prize by 17:00 GMT on 26 January 2027.
If the provisional winner does not respond by that deadline, is ineligible, cannot provide satisfactory proof of eligibility or attendance, or declines the Prize, the Prize will be forfeited and the first reserve will be contacted on 27 January 2027. The first reserve must respond by 17:00 GMT on 17 January 2027.
If the first reserve does not respond by that deadline or otherwise fails to satisfy the requirements of these Terms, the Prize will be forfeited and the second reserve will be contacted on 28 January 2027. The second reserve must respond by 15:00 GMT on 28 January 2027. If no eligible winner has accepted and claimed the Prize by that deadline, the Prize will not be awarded.
The provisional winner’s attendance will be verified by making their presence known at either the Husqvarna or BIGGA stands at BTME 2027. Should they already have attended the show and departed before being contacted about the prize, verification will be made via the event registration service.
Following verification, the winner will be announced during the event via a collaborative social media post on the Promoter and Husqvarna social media.
Claiming the Prize
To claim the Prize, the provisional winner must have attended BTME 2027 on at least one day between 26 and 28 January 2027. Attendance may be verified through the BTME event registration or check-in system. The provisional winner does not need to remain at the event after their attendance has been recorded.
Distribution of the Prize
Standard delivery of the Prize to one accessible mainland United Kingdom address nominated by the winner will be arranged and paid for by Husqvarna UK. Any exceptional delivery, access or handling requirements identified following the site assessment are excluded unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Publicity
The Promoter may ask the winner to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the Prize Draw. Any use of the winner’s image will be agreed separately with the winner.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, liability under applicable product-liability legislation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
General
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the Prize Draw in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its control. By entering the Prize Draw, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are governed by English Law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Data Protection
Personal data provided during registration will be processed by the Promoter for the purposes of administering the Prize Draw, verifying eligibility and attendance, contacting the selected winner and reserve winners, awarding and fulfilling the Prize, and meeting any applicable legal or regulatory requirements. Further notice about how the Promoter processes personal data is available in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
The winner’s name, contact details and relevant installation information may be shared with Husqvarna UK and its authorized service partner solely where necessary to arrange delivery, assess site suitability and fulfil the standard installation package.
